They are coming pretty close to this in California:

California cities consider seizing mortgages

Published July 05, 2012

The Wall Street Journal

A handful of local officials in California who say the housing bust is a public blight on their cities may invoke their eminent-domain powers to restructure mortgages as a way to help some borrowers who owe more than their homes are worth.

Investors holding the current mortgages predict the move will backfire by driving up borrowing costs and further depress property values. "I don't see how you could find it anything other than appalling," said Scott Simon, a managing director at Pacific Investment Management Co., or Pimco, a unit of Allianz SE.

Truly frightening and unfortunately not at all impossible. I asked my brother in law (we have never talk politics ever) who he was going to vote for and he said definitely not for Obama.

His words were <It's time to take our country back>.

He also said that the country appears to be going communist. My only comment was that for me Obama is more of a fascist. But that is really nitpicking about terminology. Neither fascist nor communist have any respect for our Bill of Rights.

God where did we get this Obama from? Born in another country. And clearly a pure islamic in his heart.

Savage is a big mouth, however he isn't a stupid big mouth. I share his opinion on the possibility of elections being 'cancelled' if Obama gets back in. Honestly, I will be surprised if there is no sort of move made to cancel this one .... especially should Obama find himself facing overwhelming odds in polls. Very little Obama would do would be a big surprise, knowing how he apparently does view this country.

That's the kind of crazy talk that gets the right branded as "wing-nuts". Can't believe it got 8 recs.

Of course, if Obama is reelected and he does somehow manage to disband congress and somehow convince the military to provide the muscle for his dictatorship, then I will humbly apologize.

The question is if 2012 is the last chance to stop the "takers" from ruling the country. Our demographics are about to end us as Obama's open border policy essentially spells our doom.

Anybody tries a military takeover of this country would get trampled to death! Do you have any idea how many guns are in households in this country? Savage is a war monger.
