Not my model, but it's generally considered to be a major buy signal for many professional fund managers and market timers, Carl Swenlin is one of them although he's not a fund manager as much as he is a market timer with numerous awards, he's a highly respected market technician and strategist, one of the few I truly respect... we've had several email conversations about some of his indicators, the guy is really savvy and is mostly self taught... who knows if he actually lurks here or not, I wouldn't be surprised...

He prefers to use the EDMA which is the exponential DMA rather than the simple DMA, he finds it more accurate and reliable, I agree with him on that...

Conversely, when the 20 EDMA crosses below the 50 EDMA, then he goes neutral, this means he sells all stocks and goes flat... when the 50 EDMA is below the 200 EDMA and the 20 EDMA then crosses below the 50 EDMA, then a major short signal is triggered and confirmed...

So, now that the 50 EDMA is above the 200 EDMA and also the 20 then crossing above the 50 EDMA he will be a buyer for the long term until the 20 EDMA drops below the 50 EDMA once again...
