Blaming Clinton for the tragedy of 9-11 won't fly. The Clinton Administration funded and was was tough in pursuit of elusive terrorists.

The Clinton Administration clearly briefed the immediate al Quieda threat level to the Bushies.

The Bushies wanted to re-prioritize national security. Couldn't hire Halliburton or the wishful military industrial complex to hunt a few hundred radical religious jihaddihists with small weapons and IEDs.

Let me take it back a few more years.. To Jimmy Carter and Stansfield Turner.. They are the ones who absolutely GUTTED our Human Intelligence gathering capabilities, relying instead upon Signals and Imagery capabilities.

The only way you can penetrate and understand these terrorist networks is by infiltrating them with human assets. SIGINT and IMINT are, at best, supportive of HUMINT.
