I'm sure it would excite conservatives, without being a Palin-like blunder - she's a long time pol that can handle herself. Since he's going to take Texas anyway, and all the conservative women are going to vote for him anyway, I'm not sure what it gives him. I don't see her attracting independent or liberal women.
