To those that say that the qntm bulls need to get real, I can only say when I make bullish comments, I'm talking about buying stock and holding it for the long-term (qtr, years). I'm not talking about margin or buying Calls and hoping for the best.

qntm has already proved to be a successful turn-around company. Its stock is up about 80% YTD inspite of the recent downturn, and up over 300% in two years. Vanni may be right and he might be wrong, but don't use a day, week or month as your yardstick.

Some of you naysayers have got to get real.

<<But these are trying times in the dd sector the street looked at
wdc and seg and it now wants proof that qntm can meet earnings. Dale>>
Dale, Quantum management and ourselves are dreaming if we believe meeting earnings will make a huge difference. We just beat earnings again (only company to do so) and look where we are now. Unfortunately with 75% of revenues from DD and the Quantum DD association in people's minds, it gets lost that 83% of Quantum's theoretical value is DLT. It is futile to hope this will change without positive action. A disk driv eindustry association has almost5 always been the kiss of death and sentiment has rarely been so negative.
