Yes. It would snowball. Canadians presumably have a thousand linguistic references to frozen water since for 9 months of the year snow lands on your head. Rumour has it there are many different names for forms of snow. When there is nothing but white, things could get inconvenient - no summer respite. But at least there would be no mosquitoes or black flies. Leeches in the lakes would be turned into glacial till. Good riddance. Polar bears would have to move south, along with the people.
