The common never was, never will be and never can be on an equal footing with the rich and powerful. Get over it. In your socialist utopias, it is just a different path to power and riches for the select few.

Tell me any time in history when that was not true! Until we invented democracy.


Please read and try to understand the constitution. The US is not a democracy in the sense that you idealize, it is a republic with a very unequal distribution of power. The soveriegn states retain large amounts of power, and that is fundamentally undemocratic and unequal. Do you want to abolish the undemocratic Senate which gives Wyoming the same power as California?
