Sean... I'm using AutoMate. Can do lots of stuff, send keystrokes, mouse macros, waiting periods, and basic scripts. The basic scripts are great for creating modular tasks which do different things... easier to edit if necessary. I have to use a mouse macro for SuperCharts chartscanner. They didn't program any hot keys or Alt-keys into the interface. So the only way I can run it with automate is to use the mouse. One macro I did find useful is a "start menu" mouse macro. The start menu on NT4 & W95 never moves so a simple macro to click open the "start" and Alt-R the run command then send key strokes. Automate won't recognise a 'shortcut' link with their run an executable function so I had to use that to run QP shortcuts in NT with the "run in separate memory space" checked. As for the <tabs> in the Q+ MS output program... I found that if you run the MS output once the next time the tabs were kinda "not in the right place". I had to <tab> "around the block" to put the focus on the proper button. I think it was 7 <tabs>. I'd have to look at the procedure to be sure.
