Why isn't Sandy Berger in prison? Apparently some people are too big to prosecute.

Could it be that he's avoided prosecution because he was a huge bundler for Obama?

Nah, perish the thought.

The man is a HUGE sleazebag, personally, politically and business-wise. I think a very easy prosecution would be to go after him for his perjured testimony before Congress. Of course, that would require the same Senators who kowtowed to Dimon to show some testicular fortitude. Hard to do when banks account for some much of the political funding and lobbying these days.

Quite possibly a clinical sociopath....which means he'll stop at nothing.

Problem is that politics is a brutal sport.....he may well become a liability for O! and his bundling is probably not as effective as it once was. Thus, he's ripe for a shove into the abyss.

If he looks worried, it's because he should be. The problem for O! and the Fools on The Hill is that going after C. would be great politics but bad for political business.

If a prosecution is in the cards, it will be mid-campaign, when Romney's money will be an issue. In fact, I think we'll see a lot of prosecutions, investigations etc., mid-campaign as O! on one hand paints Romney as an oligarch yet takes money from Wall St. with the other. Then ditches all or most of the prosecutorial impetus if he's re-elected.

Corzine's toast.

As a sociopath, there is no telling what he'll do to protect himself.

It's not over yet. I think it will make the tabloids, whatever happens.
