I can't speak for people who lost kids there because thankfully, I didn't. My kid gave it a year of his life, which is still a substantial commitment. I can tell you that he and pretty much everyone in his unit has nothing but the greatest respect for George Bush.

There is a reason the military generally doesn't support Obama. Obama ended the Iraq War on Bush's time table, although more abruptly than Bush would have. And Obama has continued the Afg. war needlessly. I'm not at all sure Bush would still be there, at least not with the numbers of killed Obama's policy has given us.
