>> Every GI coming back from iraq can thank Obama for ending that bogus war.

While some would, very few returning military members would consider it a "bogus war".

But it is important to remember that Obama "ended" the war on terms set out by the Bush administration in the SOFA which was negotiated and agreed to by Bush Administration officials. All Obama did was to abide by the terms of it.

Although listening to the liberal media one would think there was no support at all for the Iraq War, that isn't quite true. Still, 41% of Americans believe the war WAS NOT a mistake, and that figure was higher when Obama took office and in 2010 there was only a 10-point differential -- 54%-44%.

More importantly, in June '04 -- after the war turned particularly bad and WMD were not found, Americans still believed the war was the correct action by a margin of 58/41.

The bottom line is that people turned against the war only after the going got tough -- and that, by any reasonable measure, is the REAL "bogusness" of the war. Because the people who make these decisions -- the party in power -- don't have the convenience of changing their position in response to 24/7 media bashing and bad outcomes. They have to see it through.
