It was brutal and horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The old and poor lived horrible lives of pain and suffering. No we didn't have a healthy democracy, unless you consider slavery and segregation healthy. Not allowing women to vote healthy. Massive poverty healthy. Worker exploitation healthy. Social security and medicare raised the old and especially old women out of abject poverty and gave them necessary medical care and dignity. You are sooo insensitive. Typical conservative not giving a damn about other people. I am sure BCB sees it like you though.
