I agree that high speed trains will not end shuttle Rio - S. Paulo. Problem is that the system would not have clogged as it is now if we had high speed trains Rio - S. Paulo along the *Paraiba Valley corridor.

Along 400Km there is the industrial area: Volta Redonda, Barra Mansa, Resende (in Rio State) and São José dos Campos, Taubaté, Jacarei, Lorena, Pindamonhangaba, Cruzeiro and Gurantingueta (in São Paulo State)
