Most definitely, this is all part of his incredible and extreme narcissistic personality MO, he's a highly dangerous manipulative individual, he certainly cannot be believed for anything he says and he is very capable of acting out any of his twisted and delusional fantasies in order to gain personal advantage... he's seriously mentally disturbed, he is clearly the type of individual who would turn on his own immediate family and do them severe and grave harm, and far worse than that, in a fit of horrific and uncontrolled rage...
