Fran, talk to the supplier of Joe's bipap.....they or the Doc can tell you what kind of battery to have for the bipap in case of power outage.....It's going to be a regular car battery.....

I have a friend who has a natural-gas-powered generator that's hooked into her gas line and comes on automatically when there's a loss of electrical power. It cost around $12,000, which she said was worth it after using it for a number of days after Hurricane Ike.
