Exponential subscriber growth is what all us long folks are hoping for.How long till we see some? We have had our nervour moments. I just hope it won't be to long before we are out of the woods. I find the holidays depressing anyway without counting the money I'm loosing.

A bit! That's the most bullish news I've seen since the IPO. The quiet roll-out. Smokescreen it, plead the Fifth. Product delay strategy a la MSFT. People will go that extra mile with you if you've got the product. And boy, do they. The quintessential marketing strategy is to get the public jacked up and give 'em product little by little. Maybe the poor front face of the 9200 number is developing as a tension creater by keeping the hordes at arm's length. Franz mentions that the rep said, "damn near everyone in Fremont has signed up." That's the complaint that moves are built on. When the public gets drift of what's happening, guys like Ravenal at TCI will suddenly be finding loads of cash.

Franz, you report that TCI is not strapped for cash. I haven't heard anyone including broker's analysts claim anything but the opposite. I'll bet your naive source is far closer to the truth, since TCI has no option about this. They've got to make this cable thing go. Period.

Good job of digging in deeper where I had failed to push.
