An interesting aspect of the Archie Bunker character is the degree to which the leftists consistently mock his behavior as typical of racist Whites, yet they never say a word about the racism that was exhibited toward Whites on The Jeffersons and Sanford and Son. Don't misunderstand me; I thought all of those shows were funny and I liked them. The point is that the leftists don't laugh when they ridicule the racism of the dimwitted character of Archie Bunker, and they also never say a word about the overtly racist characters of George Jefferson and Fred Sanford. Jefferson and Sanford were just as bad as Bunker.
