knight,

<< If IPM had a viable extraction process both physicaly and economicaly, then you could crunch a few numbers and come up with some evaluations dollar-wise. Why invest in a company that's packing a lot of excess baggage when you have your choice of some
high potential under-valued jr's that can actually mine their deposit?>>

These are very valid points IMO. I feel from a business aspect that some of the baggage should be lost. From the standpoint of a mineralization stand point, these are questions that should arise with all jrs not just IPM but they don't. Very little regard is usually given to the extraction process, overburden etc ... Perhaps this is a point that IPM will have to contend with prior to great stock price appreciation. With most jrs. one speculates on the amount of precious metals in the find and I don't feel this is the case with IPM. Here we have possibly tens of MM's of ounces with extraction problems. There are virtually infinite amount of chemical and physical solutions that can be tried and I think that IPM and BD have been doing this, Just my opinion. In electronics we call that method of troubleshooting easter egging because it is more of a search and get lucky method of doing something and I may be wrong. Regardless of that I find the solution of the fire assay being found so quickly to be very promising because it suggests to me that a much more scientific approach was used in understanding the mineralization thus understanding the solutions. This is my take on the situation at least. So do you invest in a company that MAY find a large ore body or do you invest in a company that MAY be able to extract a large ore body. The risks are high in both and I placed my bet on technology.
