DATA SNAP: China June Industrial Output Up 9.5% On Year; Market Expected Up 9.8%

BEIJING--Value-added industrial output in China rose 9.5% in June from a year earlier, slowing from a 9.6% on-year increase in May, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Friday.
The increase undershot the median 9.8% gain forecast by 15 economists in a Dow Jones Newswires survey.
Industrial production increased 0.76% in June from May, slower than May's 0.89% rise from April.
The National Bureau of Statistics is holding a briefing on the data from 0200 GMT.
