I'll add a couple more for reasons for Rubio....

--He's smart, he can debate, he can talk and make sense without a teleprompter.
--He's personable, and all sorts of people seem to like him.
--He's probably the person Obama and crew would least like to have on Romney's ticket....

I'm not really sure who he will pick. Rubio would probably be more strategic than Rice, I can see that (for at least 4 of the reasons you listed).

I just hope he doesn't pick anyone who does the ticket real damage. It would have to be a pretty rotten pick, before I would think about not voting for Romney, for sure!
