The game is over energizing the base to bring in additional voters who rarely vote. In order to do that clarifying differences it the key. Condi Rice is a wonderful women with impeccable credentials and experience, but her selection would remind too many voters of the Bush Presidency and visualize the same administration with different faces. Once elected, Romney could select her to be Secretary of State, but VP and stumping on the campaign trail is the wrong role.

Romney should select Rubio or Christy, Rubio to energize the base, ensure Florida goes red and crack a vane in the template of Latino voters Democrat, Christy to shock the electoral count and bring New Jersey into play.
