think you are wrong about this.... as was noted yesterday black conservatives will be branded 'uncle toms' by the statist blacks in positions of power (not that condi is a 'conservative' though she would still get the uncle tom treatment) the biggest voting block where republicans have an opportunity is with the hispanic vote, so rubio is the obvious choice i know of a number of blacks who are conservative and cannot stand obama and will not vote for him in november, you won't need to 'win' them over with a black VP....
