In light of the filing for protection under the
Companies Creditors Arrangement Act by
various members of the St Genevieve Group of

considers it material to announce that St
Genevieve is indebted towards EAG for
$14,874,000 as a result of unauthorized

GOOD LUCK STOCK,

Spider Resources Inc -

No reason for recent share price
decline

Spider Resources Inc
SPQ
Shares issued
73545410
1997-11-26 close $0.16
Thursday Nov 27 1997
Mr Andrew Etcovitch reports
At the request of the Alberta Stock Exchange,
Spider states that it is unable to explain the
recent decline in the company's share price.
Management does, however, offer as a
possible explanation a market perception that
the protection recently sought by certain other
members of the St Genevieve Group of
Companies under the Companies' Creditors
Protection Act may have a negative impact on
Spider. To respond to this possible perception,
management wishes to reassure its
shareholders that these filings for protection
have no direct effect on Spider.
Spider is an exploration company and member
of the St Genevieve Group of Companies.
