StarBucks, Walmart and Safeway follow the local State law so it's legal here in WA State.

but he's been busted anyway for a more serious crime
Politics I think has everything to do with that case and an extreme example to base ones own actions on(brandishing) as I have already pointed out is illegal in every State.
