Volga Germans. No prairie here. Huge trees you would need to remove big trees' stumps to farm the land. (Remember the Araucaria tree)

Many Volga Germans decided to move to Argentina where there are more prairies and it was easier to farm.

I keep part of a tree stump I found on my lot. It was the size of a VW beetle!!!!
