You are certainly correct in stating that this is not light summer reading! -g- What surprises me the most, in the few pages that I scanned, is such a tone of utter naivety. If I continue reading, will I find some mention of large commercial traders "gaming the system"? And the year, 1994. Well, let's see. When was the internet (www) first readily available to the public? 1992, 93, 94? John, I am always perplexed by our so-called govt. experts. I have seen more intelligent and thoughtfully rationalized critiques written on the pages of SI and other trading chat rooms than I have ever heard spoken or reported in or on the public air-waves. Many, most or maybe even all of the devastating economic situations that have occurred in the past 15 years or so have been predicted by some very smart people in these trading forums. I am certain that our govt. officials are not so stupid that they can't see the very same things.
