"Is the us 15 trillion in debt because of it's capitalism or socialism ?"

Neither. Because of superstition and ignorance. Because reality was in front of you and the NAKED Emperor asked how he looked in his clothes and you all yelled...FANTASTIC!

And then you went to church and pretended that you were privy to some supernatural agent who would destroy your enemies and give you a magic pass to Magic Land!

Don't come whining to me, fella! Just grow up and everything will be fine. Be fair, decent, and above board in your communities and pay your way in life. Take back the money stolen by your worthless churches who produce NOTHING and you could pay off your debt...

Is the us 15 trillion in debt because of it's capitalism or socialism ?

Can think of where 4tril went to war also seem to remember Paul O’Neill trying to warn Dick Cheney that growing budget deficits-expected to top $500 billion one fiscal year alone posed a threat to our economy, Cheney replied “You know, Paul, Reagan proved deficits don’t matter" . Last august the S&P downgraded America’s debt because the Republicans made the process of governing so dysfunctional that Washington couldn't be trusted to agree to make even the most basic decisions .

And to who's benefit was it to cause more trouble in the economy during a runnup into the next election year and do the fillibustering that caused that downgrade to occur ?

How about trade imballances , corporate foreign tax loopholes & Captalism's (north american) love affair with cheap overseas labor & job outsourcing ?

Because of an insane trade deficit , we might perhaps want to revisit , reassess and re-evaluate the so-called " Law of comparative advantage " and the effect it has had over the last ten years or so on jobless rates and its inability to give a boost to job creation . North American capitalism , by its obession with using overseas cheap labor is direectly responsible for the persistent decline in trade relations has pretty much lost its trade war with many Asian countries & leaves a jobless rate of 8.2 % which has become more or less chronic.

What you are seeing is EVOLUTION in the raw , veritable proof of it in fact unless you want to remain blinded like a little child & spout simple black/ white meaningless rhetoric & partisan slogans over & over again

North America and the rest of the Western World have established many universities in Asian and Latin American countries using the Western World's know how , knowledge and experience to do better. And they have done better because Brazil , China , India and South Africa have become New Global Economies too .North America should expect that the New Global Economies would not always need European and North American universities nor would these New Global Economies need in the future the factories built and operated here or in Europe .

Your "Capitalism" is going to have to show that it is prepared to outsource less jobs to other countries regardless of the type of government in power but in this i think we will see Darwin have the upper hand & win in the end because you are already seeing it happen in full blown Technicolor .

* But please don't let that stop you continuing wasting time on debates about the weather conspiracies blowing smoke , we wouldn't want you to lose your prime source of rhetorical distraction from the actual facts & realities of New Global Economics which is Darwin at his very best .
