Here's a guess. In the primary, Newt tried it, and the response from the party was "Quit attacking capitalism" and "we expected this from Dems, but not our own party." That worked on Newt, so they figured it would work on Obama. They still do. Romney to Obama: 'He Really Needs to Rein in His Team' weeklystandard.com That's Romneyese for "I haven't got an answer". Boo hoo, boo hoo. Bully gets poked in the eye and runs to his mommy. Some of this stuff goes back to Teddy Kennedy's research when he ran against Rmoney.
