You don't generally defeat an incumbent President of either party by running a weak candidate.

True. That is why Romney was selected - because he has the experience and ability that the country needs, and Obama's obvious failure shows that he does not. In July before an election, an incumbent president should be up in the polls by 5-10 points --- unless he is a failure. Let's face it - Obama was a weak candidate in 2008 that got lucky to be running during a time of extraordinary external events. Any Democrat would have won in 2008 -- but now Obama has a record - a bad one - and he doesn't want to talk about it. He is ashamed of his record and I am ashamed that he is the President of this country.
