Yeah, buying distressed properties in scale - that's very impressive. I was thinking of buying just one extra house and even that looked tough long-distance. Your friends had balls, brains and perspiration to work it out. My respect. I think distressed debt has worked great last year, so Marks is coming from that when he says that value investing has been working well. Also he may have meant that value investors did well over long time not just last year and this year.
