See what you mean. That could work, splendidly. The only question that remains is: how hard is it to port PureView to W8 vs Android. If that is an irrelevant, minor point, then I agree with you, 100%.

Personally, I might be interested in an Android toy like that. Always preferred the Android interface to WP.

I'm not saying to licence it. I'm saying for Nokia themselves to come with a PureView version for Android the same way they came out with one that was not a Windows Phone.
Don't sweat it. Soon as Nokia W8 PureView comes out, it'll get hacked to run the latest Android and everyone including you happy. ;-)
