Early civilizations

Archeological evidence suggests that the first civilizations arose in Sumer, in southern Mesopotamia (now Iraq) and Egypt, both dating from around 3000 BCE.

Göbekli Tepe is almost 7000 years older than the purported cradle of civilization yet, as you can see, it isn't even listed as an early civilization.
