Well there's always a chance but managment will not do anything to pump up the stock and will let the numbers speak for themselves. Near term the numbers will not look good with reduced margins as APM converts to MR technology. Also the disk drive sector, cyclical in nature, is under some pressure at the moment. I expect APM to land on their feet but it may take at least a year for the stock to recover.

<<I own 500 shares that I bought a few weeks ago at $22>>

Talk about bad luck. A very regretable trade. It may have been a good idea at the time but the outlook has drastically deteriorated since. You should have acted very quickly when it was clear things weren't as the seemed. In the best case APM is going nowwhere. But I think this thing is only gonna get uglier over the next 4-6 mos. If you continue to hesitate you are going to see a 50% loss slowly but surely creep up on you. 12 mos is the earliest I would ever expect to see 22 again. Consider yourself very fortunate if you are able to exit above 17.5 sometime next week and don't look back. Don't let this dog keep you down.

Two years ago, I would have bailed but since this market has made my skin a lot thicker, I would hold the darn thing. Then again I own quite of few different company stocks with no more that $3000.00 invested in any one. I am very well diversified. I believe that APM is a good company and that they will recover. The choice to hold or sell is yours to make. Maybe you could sell 1/2, free up some money to buy something else???

hcirteg: And you were the person advising everyone to take a chill pill two weeks ago? And you were the person who was going to "enjoy" holding on for the next 12 months? My opinion: You just want the pain to stop, and it will if you sell. Therefore you will sell. JMO, Paul Senior
