Re BX- but is there any distressed RE property in Australia? In some ways, the RE boom in Australia, is worse than the last boom in the US (going by price increases, duration of boom, affordability) and prices have barely begun to flaten out. i think they are at the equivalent where the US was in 2006. Not an environment to seek bargains, imo. Read the excellent bronte capital blog for some background
