And why the "scientific" study is probably wrong. Having a big brain is great for passing intelligence tests and women who have reached puberty have bigger brains than boys who have not. And the development process doesn't stop at puberty. Wisdom teeth come later and those teeth are called wisdom teeth for a reason. Suppose it is a fact that women have average IQ of 180 and men have only 80 average. There's no need to get all worked up about it. Nature does what it does and moaning about it is pointless. Men win sports events because they have natural advantage. Africans win sports events for the same reason. They also get less melanoma. Some individuals have mega horsepower brains and others are retards. It's just life in the fast lane. Finding how things work is what's good because then people can act accordingly. Women reaching puberty 3 years before men means they should be learning languages and other things younger, before they get reduced brain plasticity - old dogs and new tricks applies to people as well as dogs. It's not just a theoretical matter. Now that lots of women want to go to university, they can fill more places than males because they get better entry test scores because they have higher horsepower brains because of the 3 year extra brain development. So of course there are more women than men get in. It's not that males have given up. Males had preferred entry for decades/centuries [for cultural norm reasons such as women being married at 16 and breeding like bunnies while the blokes went out to earn the living]. Males get the best university results at the highest levels because once they have got in, they go on developing while there, but women have already peaked. Women can't escape their earlier puberty and brain development for a shorter period of time. Unfortunately, there's no government department to complain to for "My brain matured three years earlier. I want it to stay young for longer." Nature doesn't recognize government departments. "I demand a Y chromosome" doesn't help either. Mqurice
