Wcom could be in the works, but the IBM is the hot lead right now, real hot.

IBM/ASND I personally don't think it is going to happen. IBM seems to be pretty cozy with COMS and is expanding there relationship all the time. I just saw IBM labeled x2 pc card modems. IBM is reselling the Palm Pilot. IBM signed a mutiyear deal with 3Com for networing products and sharing of technologies worth several hundred million. IBM Global networks, the worlds largest, is all x2 and they seem pretty thrilled with COMS products. actually IBM/COMS looks a lot more likely. I do not think either is going to happen. I really dont know who would be a great fit for ASND,Lucent or Nortel or maybe Siemens, but not a PC company and I think the other networkers have their plates full at this time as well as WCOM. Maybe ASND should shop for some acquisitions.

Just my 2 cents,
Jeff
