Burwin: I bought after the earnings disappoint in April. I felt it was an attractive value after looking over its balance sheet. Also undervalued at the time I bought it, based on forward PE projections of about 9X forward earnings. On a smaller scale. I also feel it fits into a Buffett style company like American Standard once was. AS later renamed Trane and acquired by IR. Crane doesn't MFG. Toilets anymore, but the Crane associated with plumbing products is now owned by the surviving company of AS. I'll bet most men if their lifetime have seen a picture of that Crane. <g>

FWIW -SA did a recent piece on it.
