Keep it simple. We are trying to pick 10 stocks to track vs the "Buffet" 10. Once the ports are in place-leave them alone, only dividends should be an issue for the next 9 months, unless a sock gets bought out.

This should be a fun and easy contest, not complicated!

Just my opinion.

I second OX. We should keep it as simple as possible. I received on PM asking if real money was needed to participate. This is a fun contest.

SI is taking on Buffett's top 10 holdings.

We pick 10 stocks to go against Buffetts top 10 holdings. Track the results including dividends and let it ride for nine months. Unless one of our stocks get delisted for whatever reason, we do nothing.

After 9 months, we are allowed to make max two changes. We may decide not to make any change. At that point we should adjust Buffett's portfolio to reflect his top 10. My reasoning is that if we are allowed the option to make changes we should give Buffett the same consideration.

Then we do nothing for a year unless one of stocks get delisted for whatever reason. We are then allowed up to two changes to our portfolio and once again adjust Buffett's portfolio to reflect his top 10.
