As best I can remember, SCNG licensed their software to Scorpion some years ago, and Scorpion either couldn't pay or refused to pay the royalties. SCNG then sued Scorpion and won. Scorpion was to make payments to SCNG. Scorpion defaulted on the 2nd payment, I believe, and SCNG was then awarded all of the assets of Scorpion, basically putting Scorpion out of business.

Again, this is what I can remember. Some of the details may be incorrect, but you get the general picture.
