Yes..............inaugural day storm. Sister was living in a one bdrm apt in town and they didn't have generators so she spent all that time with us. We also have gas and so were lucky to have hot water and a cooktop. The generator kept the gas fireplace fan going, so we were pretty cozy. We took walks, watched movies, read books and played card games. I hadn't spent that much time with my sis since she moved out of the house at 18. We had just bot a generator and it worked like a charm until the last day of the outage when it blew a seal. Hubby took it back to HD and they said they would repair it for free. When he went back to pick it up they had sold it so he got another more powerful one for the same price instead. We have only used it once.
