Same thing happened to my GX2. I updated it the first time to Gingerbread. Spent a day-and-a-half waiting for an update to download. "Bricked It".
Well, that very well may be the case here at my end, with the Nokia 808.

Been glancing at this, once in a while, since around 9AM - it's now well past 1PM here in MPLS - with absolutely no end or indication of any sort in sight...


My only remaining hope is: it takes a long time for those Finns to send that HUGE firmware update to me, over here in the US of A, across the ocean, all the way from nearly bankrupt Nokia, over there.

Otherwise, I'd have given up long ago, packed the POS back up, and got my refund.

That may still happen.

I do have 14 days to return it, free of restocking charges!
