Every once in a while a Countrywide security hits the NYSE New Highs list.

Today it is

Countrywide Capital Trust IV 6.75% Trust pfd. Secs (CFCA)24.9124.82-0.01-0.0424,493

On some quote systems it is CFC Preferred A
Current yield is 6.8% (par is $25).

You should search for the summary opinion of the attorney representing the lead plaintiffs on Countrywide's $8.5 billion settlement. She recognized that BofA could put Countrywide Financial into bankruptcy....

Considering the state liberal AG's are questioning the settlement, CFC could still end up in bankruptcy.
