Have you noticed that people making $250K/year in Manhattan are not "rich" at all, yet they're being treated as if they're millionaires by liberal politicians?

Governor Moonbeam here in California defended his proposed "millionaire's tax" even though it hits people making more than $250K a year:

They claim that with such an income, one can become a millionaire by saving, but that's bulls--t because the tax code is specifically designed to punish savers.

Or as Paul Krugman would say, "Working as intended."
