The Knicks didn’t match Jeremy Lin’s offer sheet because owner James Dolan felt ‘betrayed,’ ‘deceived,’ according to report:

James Dolan has done more to ruin the Knicks and Rangers than any owner possibly could. Look at the Knicks. Hired Isiah Thomas and stuck with him for 6+ years before finally firing that idiot. Hired Glen Sather as Ranger GM and he proceeds to miss the playoffs 6 years in a row....a near impossible feat in the NHL. Finally Sather realizes he has to build the organization with home grown talent and now the Rangers are a top 8 team in the NHL. Dolan's only virtue is that he is loyal ......but even that went way too far with Thomas and Sather. The Knicks should have signed Lin up multi year before the end of the season. He would have come cheaper. I think Houston overpaid but that's that. I don't think Lin is an all star......but he certainly is a starting NBA point guard. I'm not sure LIn ever could fully prosper in NY with Carmelo Anthony. But then from what I saw last year......if you can't prosper with Lin at point guard.......you have some real issues with your game. I don't think the Knicks are going anywhere next year. Go Rangers.
