To you NOVL doomsayers:
Remember, there's still lots of cash there, revenues, and a valuable collection of technology. OK, marketing stinks.

I can't believe that NOVL isn't being eyed by the likes of IBM as a takover target. You're going to have to be bigger than a company the size of NOVL to take on Microsoft. Shakeouts and mergers will be the trend as the industry matures. The marketing clout that comes with merging with the likes of an IBM is what the company needs. Maybe it won't be IBM; there's other big players out there hungry fo a piece of Bill Gate's a**.

We've heard the buyout rumors for eons now, but should NOVL's revenues stagnate and management's bag of tricks for growing the company runs out, NOVL will be put up for sale. If this is the case, I hope for the speculative runup in share price that allows guys like me to bail!
