I noticed that many of the semi equipment stocks I track took a hit yesterday. I think in part it might have something to do with a story I just heard at lunch time on Asia Business News. Hyundi has announced that they will stop construction of two semiconductor plants they were building in Scotland - evidently due to the problems back home in Korea. Another Korean semiconductor firm (and the name escaped me but I think it begins with an L) said it would still build two new plants of its own in Wales. jess.
