I'm surprised, I guess. But I think you're right -- net-net, I have a feeling the doc I mentioned was probably happier to be without the additional workload and not as concerned about the loss of revenue.

Slightly different subject, but I'm wondering whether you see an increased trend toward consolidation with the hospital industry? I don't think I mentioned it, but in Hot Springs, the Sisters of Mercy have agreed to sell St. Joesephs to the company that owns National Park Med Ctr here. I think a lot of people are really disappointed in that St. Joes non-profit, while NPMC is for-profit. St. Joes had been busily buying up other facilities as they sprung up in this area, and now suddenly, the entire situation has changed. I just wonder to what extent Obamacare figured into that analysis. To be honest, in my experience the quality of care was much better at NPMC; but it really has caused a lot of complaining around town ... I wonder if this is part of a trend, or just coincidence, or what.
