This discharges the employer.....the Labor Unions make some of these folks think the Employer couldn't have built his/her business without their help. Perhaps. BUT the employer PAYS them to do the work. The employee has agreed by contract to do that work. Yes, they helped with with whatever project.....they were PAID for that work. IF they were on commission, they are paid on their sales of the product/service the Company sells. Sometimes, this type of employee has a "desk charge" to pay....(i.e. hair stylists, salon services, barbers, real estate people, etc etc)....The desk charge could include Rent of space, Rental for the equipment the employer has to pay, Advertising, phone charges, Utilities, etc etc..... The person working in a factory or office on Salary doesn't pay those charges.....most of them forget (if they ever knew) they are a "cost of doing business" and in order for the Employer to pay them, they must make MORE than expenses and profit that the Employer has to pay for them to "soak up heat" as a old friend of ours used to say..... Obama and his cronies really believe and thus blabber/whine every minute of the day about how cruel and mean the employer really is... These same people never have put up a dime of their own money to start a business.....they simply don't know what a Risk that is..... Risk is a cost of doing business, as my husband if fond of saying....but it is the truth.
