Thanks for those kind words Sergio. Much appreciated. It’s been a very stimulating and informative event for me so far, and I’ve enjoyed being part of the process. At the same time it has required a certain amount of my time to keep things updated and presented, which I certainly don’t have a problem with. However, as a result of that, plus other demands on my time, I haven’t done anything to speak of in terms of commenting on my own selections or those of others. Once we get past 31 July I hope to do more in that regard. It’s also a pity, IMO, that some of the really ardent and long term proponents of Value Investing, that regularly contribute to boards on that subject, have not, as yet, decided to take part in this challenge. I’m sure that the members that have, so far, taken part in this challenge would have been interested to have scrutinized those stock choices and the reasons for those choices. Anyway, you did as much as you could to advertise this event in several appropriate forums. I’ve checked on SMA and, as you correctly said, it does not appear to have been nominated. It’s now been removed. I must have been half asleep at the time I put it in the voting list !!
