DataLabs is small-but is privately owned. They have licensed their [products to 3Com as well as Yurie. Both companies are within 10 miles of my offices. I've made a number of requests for a visit appointment with Yurie-voice message,fax and e-mail and have never had courtesy of reply. I tell them (and it is true) I hold a substantial number of shares in Yurie. Prior to the announcement of the failure to consumate the DataLabs acquisition I was unaware of there existance and saw nothing in the Yurie literature about their licensing agreement. Wonder if the class action vultures will leap onto this one? Next week I will request a visit to both companies. I don't expect either to accomodate me because of all the analysts who must be calling.
